- Commit to part or full-time attendance in most of our retreat days offered monthly February through May.
- Commit to a continuous regular practice in the areas you have self-selected to develop in your personal practice.
- Take on a service project that will take place over the course of the Ango period.
- This service project can take on a variety of community, family, personal needs. Examples might include volunteering at the warming house, taking on volunteering as a reading buddy at a school, helping shovel in your neighborhood…the scope and specifics are of course yours to determine.
The idea in all of these commitments is to set realistic, accomplishable goals that can help you to establish, strengthen or deepen your practice. Additionally, these commitments allow you to see how your practice interweaves in meaningful ways in the contexts of your life.
The cost of attending Ango 2020 is $175 for full practice and retreats, including meals, snacks, tea, etc.
Cost of attending only full day zazenkai retreat-$60.
You are also welcome to attend any of these retreats full or part-time without joining Ango!
