RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM
Students can come to live and practice at Zen Garland for extended periods of time. The minimum stay is one month.
Residential Students have access to study with all our lineage-holding teachers and an intensive training schedule, which includes the elements of our holistic model of spiritual development. We conduct three intensive training periods (Ango) each year: January to March, May through July, and September through Enlightenment (Rohatsu) Retreat the first week of December.
Residential Students can come for intensive practice in any of our Paths – Zen Buddhist, Christian Zen, Aikido Zen and Native American Zen. They can attend retreats, take classes and workshops or join our Programs in Pastoral Counseling, Tara Care: End of Life Services, or Chaplaincy.
Monthly Residential costs are $800 for rooming, $250 food. Training costs vary depending on the chosen curriculum and length of stay.
